wd-52525 HD setting?

is there anything i could have accidentally changed on my wd-52525 to affect HD settings?

let me explain:
i've been setting up surround sound, dvd player, x-box, etc this weekend. i even got into NetCommand and adjusted some settings while setting everything up. i noticed yesterday evening when i turned on a HD program, the onscreen information says it is 4:3 SD. the same could be said today as well. according to Showtime's website, Saturday January 29 at 10 pm, Shawshank Redemption was in HD. today at 8 pm Barbershop 2 was in HD. however, when i tuned in to each show, my onscreen info said 4:3 SD and not 16:9 HD. now, the shows actually came in HD and not SD, but that is not what the onscreen info stated.

is there anything i could've changed in my settings for the onscreen info to be incorrect?

note: i use a cable card and not a cable box.

as long as the pq looked better on the HD channel vs the SD channel, I think you are fine. I couldn't find anything in my menu that sounded like it would change that stuff.

Check your format settings, and Net command settings too. I don't use a cable card, the tv picks up network HD over the cable line w/o it.

Otherwise, Does that info come down the line from the cable company? channel names do, esp Hd channels since you can't name them. mine say FOXHD, CBSHD, PBSHD etc.

not sure if that info does come down from the cable company. my channel names are SHOHD, CBSHD, etc as well. before yesterday, i would tune into SHOHD and it would say 16:9 HD but now it just says 4:3 SD. granted, picture quality is better and i just wanted to check here first before i called the cable company to ask if anything is wrong.
