i have insight on my mitsubishi wd-52525, using a cable card. the last few days, something strange has happened with the information regarding HD shows. when i change channels the onscreen display provides details about shows: Standard 4:3 or HD 16:9 is shown. now, the last few days when i tune in to a HD show, instead of showing HD 16:9 it shows Standard 4:3.
my question is this: does anyone know if this information is sent from the cable provider, or is this something my TV is "screwing up"?
any info would be greatful!

Does it do it with the OTA feed?? If this is the case then maybe something is wrong with the HD Tuner. If this doesn't do with OTA, then maybe it's the feed from your cable company.

to be honest...i haven't set up my antenna yet...because the only channel i would gain by adding an antenna would be ABC...i get the rest....maybe i'll try that and see what happens.

took back my antenna yesterday....fox, cbs, ket are all on cable now....plus nbc will be on this month and abc soon after...so i won't need an antenna any longer. (note: fox is supposed to be broadcasting the Super Bowl on channel 772 in Lexington, but they're having problems with their feed. ugh!!!)
tv still providing wrong info....contacted both insight and mits and neither know what is wrong....mits is having a technician call in a couple days.

yeah, i'm very familiar with henry (james brown)...we've met out downtown and while at UK....plus my wife see's him at least once a week at court (she's an atty in town.)
