My SA8000HD DVI port just started working, I think yesterday. Of course your provider has to upload the upgrade for it to work, but as far as I know SA didn't even have the upgrade available till probably around now.

Yeah, mine just became active also. Now I'm getting a message telling me my tv doesn't support hdcp and I'll need to use component.

I'm with Rogers Cable and I got the same message. I think the firmware upgrade activated the port, but it's still not sending signal through.

I'm getting the same msg from my box from Comcast. I spoke to a tech at Comcast and apparently there is a patch to fix it but they're just waiting for the go ahead from corporate to send it out. I'd imagine Rogers would need the patch too...

Same (erroneous) "You don't have an HDCP capable set" message
with Baltimore area Comcast. Hope this gets fixed so I can stop
futzing with my analog switchbox; too many input sources :).

I got the message from day 1 (six weeks ago) when I set up my new HDTV. Finally called SA and learned that their box is not compatible with Cablevision in NY. They said it will be fixed in the future. The biggest problem I had is that if I used my VCR to record all I could record was the error message regarding HDCP. Cablevision had no clue.
