Hey Guys. First-time poster here. I've owned my Mitsu WS-55311 for about a year now and finally went digital today. Got a Dish 811. OTA works fairly decent with my cheapie Jensen antenna. Having trouble pulling in my Fox channel, which apparently just went HD a couple of days ago. In fact, after doing some homework for the past few days and searching antennaweb.com, they don't even list it yet. It broadcasts on Ch 4 and I can only pull in about 50% which is not enough to lock it in. Couple of questions: I am in my basement. Should I buy an attic-mounted antenna such as the RCA ANT3022? If I mount an antenna outside, would I ever be able to pull in a station 75 miles away?

You've got a great site here and it's already answered SOME of my ?s. I look forward to being a regular here.

You better get busy if you want to get the Super Bowl in HD! WDKY-DT is on a temporary low-power authorization from the FCC, and doesn't cover much:

You ought to consider an outside antenna in any event, since attic antennas are unreliable for most people. A medium range antenna, like a Channel Master Crossfire 3679, a Winegard HD7082P or a Wade-Delhi VU933SR should pull everything that you are looking for. Because your stations lie in different directions, you should probably consider a rotator, as well. 75 miles for a TV station, analog OR digital is a bit far unless you have a LOT of elavation, regardless of how large an antenna and preamplifier you have. Here are some links to antenna manufacturers, and some installation information:
