This is what I am currently dealing with.....
Assignment
* yellow - uhf KXRM-DT 21.1 FOX COLORADO SPRINGS CO 264° 3.2 22
* yellow - uhf KOAA-DT 42 NBC PUEBLO CO Currently Not Available 264° 3.2 42
* yellow - uhf KTSC-DT 8.1 PBS PUEBLO CO 264° 3.2 26
* yellow - vhf KKTV-DT 11.1 CBS COLORADO SPRINGS CO 264° 3.2 10
* green - uhf KRDO-DT 13.1 ABC COLORADO SPRINGS CO 265° 3.2 24

Im using a Jenson indoor antenna and a Samsung sir-t351 and I get CBS, ABC and PBS great. You would think that considering that Fox is located at the same location as those 3 I would recieve it, Right?.....NOPE, Nothing at all for Fox. I would like to watch the Super Bowl in HD. Im from Boston and it would be the best to watch the Patriots win it again in HD. Plus my wife watches more Fox than anything. Does anyone else have a idea whats going on? My reception is VERY Strong on the other 3 OTA channels.

Thanks

I would first try removing the FOX station from your tuner's memory, and rescan the stations. Many stations have had problems with the PSIP information in the past few week as they rushed to meet the FCC deadline for including certain kinds of information into their digital stream. This has played havoc with a lot of receivers.

Secondly, give the station a call and ask them if their HDTV signal is actually on the air, as they may have been down for repairs or maintainence.

Finally, consider using an outdoor antenna rather than the indoor model that you are currently using... a small outdoor antenna does wonders for fixing problem reception on digital stations like macro-blocking (or pixelization) and signal dropouts.

I did exactly like you said and it worked. Thanks so much. Its odd because I did it 3-4 times yesterday. Thanks again

I'm glad I could help: that advice seems to have worked for a lot of people across the country" :)

Unfortunately, rescanning without deleting the problem channels doesn't fix PSIP problems, so deleting the station first is essential for the tuner to find the new PSIP information and fix your problem. I'm glad it worked!
