I picked up a Accurian OTA HD receiver from Radio Shack as it the only one that I could find in town. I also picked up a 150-1880 antenna. I hooked them both tonigth and had a pretty hard time getting a consistent singnal above 70% so it cuts out here and there. I moved the antenna around but it never seemed to get any better then that. So should look at a different antenna? The room I am in is on the 2nd floor and faces the east. The towers are to the North. The room is on the sound end of the house so maybe the house is the obstruction. I was trying not to put an antenna in the attic. Maybe it is the receiver, I have seen a few reports that it does not handle weak signals well. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is the antenna web stats for my street.

One more thing. I used to have a ATI HDTV wonder and a RCA ANT1250 in the same room and had the same problem. Don't know if this helps.

Your going to have go to the attic (at a minimum) assuming you're not faced with the same obstructions.

If that is unsuccessful, the roof is your only option.

If your TVs are on the south side of the house, and the transmitters are to your north, then an outdoor antenna is your most likely solution: multipath signals will play havoc with your digital signals as they try to pass through your house. A Channel Master 4221 UHF 4-bay, or a Radio Shack 15-2160 UHF antenna mounted on the roof and aimed at the transmitters WILL solve your problems.

Oh well I was hoping for an inside antenna solution. I already get most of the channels in HD from the cable company. The only one that I am missing is FOX which is having some negotiation problems with the local cable company, which I guess I will just wait out.
