Finally got an antenna up on the roof, a large Radio Shack unit. I am getting the HD signal perfect on my ATI HDTV tuner thats connected to my Mitsubishi WD-52525. Connecting the antenna with a 3 way splitter to my FM reciever I get EXTREAMLY poor reception. WHY?

Another problem my TV wont get the HD signal at all. Mitsubishi says it's a software problem, and are sending me an update. SUCKS.

It isn't clear from your post if you have problems with TV AND FM reception when the 3-way splitter is installed. If your problem is just with FM, then you should know that Radio Shack antennas deliberately supress FM reception so FM will not interfere with TV reception.

If your problem is that all reception, both TV and FM goes bad when you use the splitter, then you have a signal strength problem that can be solved by properly aiming the antenna (with the UHF, or ---->-- ) aimed at the the transmitters. You'd be surprised how many people get this part of it wrong :)

Your next move would be to get a signal amplifier to mount before the splitter to overcome the losses inherent is splitting a signal 3 ways. Radio Shack has a couple of small amplifiers suited for this purpose.

If you continue to have FM problems, install a small FM antenna like a Radio Shack 15-2163 six element FM yagi
