When I got my tv two days ago, I first watched a movie in progressive scan mode, and it looks great, but when playing my xbox I get jagged line all over the place and the players look terrible, I have the hd xbox cable, I was just wondering if it was just the game or if there is something I may not be doing right?
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks

I assume your xbox is connected through component inputs? Just a thought, but if they are then just check to see the are hooked up right.
If it is hooked by component cables, and probably on a different input from the DVD player, the lenses could be off a bit.
just a thought...

Turn your xbox on without any games in it and make sure your hd settings are correct in the setup screen for your xbox.

Definatley check your cables! Are they used? damaged, not pluged in right?
XBOX settings should not do that(jaggies) weather you have the 480p,720p,or 1080i on or not.

Jaggies depend on the game... Halo 2= very few jaggies... Espn NFL2005= jaggies...
Not every game employs anti-aliasing. I don't think it has to do with the cables (you'll see more jaggies with component cables cause the picture is that much clearer, it would be fuzzier with composite if that's what you want)
