PT47WX49 PAL capable ????

Hi,

I'm moving to the UK in about a month and would like to take my beloved PT47WX49 with me. I cannot find any info on whether it is PAL compatible.
Does anyone know whether or not it can handle it ?

If you bought it here, it's likely not PAL compatible, rather NTSC.

There are NTSC/PAL converters available for about $300...

I've moved from the UK to the US about a year ago. I would imagine that your TV is very unlikely to be PAL, but I can't be certain. What is also important is that the UK is on 240v, so you would have to have a power transformer. Also, most houses in the UK aren't as big as the US, so you probably wouldn't have room to set it up anywhere!!! I didn't bring any electrical stuff over here - it wasn't worth the hassle.
