PT-45LC12 Ballast, any other then Panasonic?

Figured I would ask...

Had the TV for two years. Lost the lamp after 13 months and less then 500 hours of viewing. Replaced that...$325.

Ballast went 3 months ago. $550. Not going to replace it unless I can get a better deal then that. Bought a TV to replace it and basically junked it sucking up the huge loss in cash.

But...

Does anyone where I might be able to get one for less money not through Panasonic?

Thanks Ratman but I have tried that.

There is not a site that I have been able to find that lists "ballast" or "power supply" so have been unable to figure out the part number.

I even went through a list of over 1000 parts and still could not figure out which one it was since not a part costed more then $200.

Any other ideas?

Call a few local repair shops that service Panny's. You may find one that's willing to answer your questions.
