OK sorry should have clarified some more I have the Sony prog 700 series DVD player on it in the menu it gives me these options:
BNR(block noise reduction)
off
1
2
3
with 3 taking the most noise out possible at least thats what the manual says..
Settings:
Standard, Dynamic 1, Dynamic 2, Cinema 1, Cinema 2 now the manual says when watching movies to put it on cinema 1 or 2 cause it increases the richness of the picture and contrast and color......but ive been using Standard...
Video EQ:

Soft
the higher the setting the manual says the more it enhances the outline of figures on the screen or by putting it on soft it ust softens the picture...
So what im getting at is what do you guys think I should have my settings at ive got the Sony KP51ws500 perfect which is the TV but just wanted to see what you guys thought on the DVD player setting and what they should maybe be on.....
