View Full Version : Menu question for Panasonic PT-43LC14

We recently got the Panasonic PT-43LC14, love it, only problem is when we turn on the tv, it automatically goes to the menu screen and we have to hit Picture and Exit to clear it. We use a Harmony Remote as the remote for all our accesories, but because of the Menu that comes up, it doesn't work correctly. If I use the remote that came with the tv, and hit exit, the menu goes away, but then the next time we turn it off and on again, the menu is back. Any ideas? I know this is probably a really easy thing to fix, but I cna't figure it out. Thanks in advance.

Sounds odd. Is this happening with either remote and also with the power button on the set?

I just bought this tv and mine did the same thing until I ran the auto channel setup. After I ran that the menu was no longer there upon start up.

That was a thought I had but couldn't remember if it was something I had to do or not. Doesn't seem like they checked in though, maybe they figured it out and are caught up with something HD.

You were right, for some reason last night I tried the auto channel setup and it worked. Nice for the guys that delivered and setup the tv, to do their complete job, NOT!
