Which bow tie antenna is better, the DB4, the channelmaster 4221, or the winegard pr-4400?

Depending on which manufacturer (or owner) you speak with, they are basically all equal IMO.

What if I plan to put the antenna in the attic? Should I move up the the DB8 or 4228 or can I stick with the DB4 or 4221?>

IMO... for the extra $20, go with a 4228 if in the attic.

Either the Db8 or the 4228 would be my choice...

"resisting urge to make Chevy joke*

Bigger is better in the attic to help make up for the loss your going to have putting it in the attic...

I'd prefer the 4228, mounted on the roof! An attic installation is a lot like kissing your sister!

Yeah, the roof would be the best place but not everyone either can or wants it there... looking at the antennaweb report I wouldn't expect much of a selection putting it in the attic though...

The 4228 made a huge difference in my OTA reception. I even picked up a few new channels (e.g. UPN). Much better than the Radio Shack yagi (2160?) for me. Will it fit in your attic?
