:usa1: If Comcast's HD set top box has DVI (I believe it does), can I connect that output to the digital input on this monitor, and watch HD TV on it?

The monitor has two separate inputs, one for output from a digital card, and the other from an analog card.

I have regular cable now, but if paying an extra $10/month or so will get me HDTV without any new hardware, that would be great.

First, the DVI output is likely to requireHDCP handshaking which, AFAIK, the 1901 will not do. Second, do you really think that watching HD on a 19" screen is worth the effort/cost?

Kal (writing this on a 1901)

Have to agree with Kal. Just finished reading a review of Dell's new 24" LCD (UltraSharp 2405FPW), which is very high-end as monitors go, and even its DVI input does not support HDCP content protection. Of course, not all HDTV sources require HDCP....
