First of all i would like to say what a great forum this is .I decided to get my television (Sony KV-30HS420) because of the comment made by other menbers.Unfortunatlly while i was moving we dropped it.Now there is in the top left corner a discoloration.It varies on what color the background is but it normallygoes from green to purpleish.Is it permently damaged or is there something that could be done to fix the problem?

Did you buy a warranty?
Also, any visable scratches,breaks where it was dropped?
If you cant tell it was dropped then its an easy return.

Unfortunatly the cabinet has a big gouge in it.

thats a total bummer. I had 3 people help me with my 36XBR800. better to be safe than sorry.

Ok if thats the case can someone in the Montreal area refer me to a good repair shop that wont BS me about what is wrong.
