Panasonic Service Plan vs BB PSP

I recently purchased a Panny PT50-LC14 :wow: and due to what I've read here and at other forums regarding bulb life and repair costs I'm considering a service plan. The two I'm considering are:

Panasonic's Service Plan - $600 - 3 Years starting at end of warranty, no bulb coverage
-or-
Best Buys PSP $400 4 years starting now, covers bulb replacement.

I'm not a big fan of BB's service, but the repair costs I've seen would justify either plan even w/o the bulb coverage.

Has anyone out there dealt with Panasonic on their plan, or has opinions on the BB plan or other options.

You need the bulb coverage.

You should check into the Warrantech Repairmaster extended warranty. They're priced lower than just about all other plans and are popular among the Plasma crowd, but i dunno if it covers the bulb or not.

Just be sure someone in your area actually accepts rhe coverage from a extended warrenty company! I called a number of shops in my area and NONE of them accept Repairmaster!
