Newbie so please bear with me, I have the KDP-57WS655 HDTV and the DENON 2910 DVD player which is hooked up to the TV thru the HDMI cable and audio to the Receiver thru a Digital Coax cable,PQ when playing DVD's varies from excellent to sometimes just a slight touch of grain which I know is probably the disk, but what I would like to know what are the best settings to use on the DENON with the Sony.Current settings are HDMI RGB,1080i, still learning this new combo and so far i'm liking what i'm seeing

OK, this post may be a little late, but maybe you will notice. I don't have a Denon DVD player, but I do have a Toshiba up conversion DVD player hooked up to my WS655 via HDMI and optical to the reciever. I didn't want pay alot for HDMI cables, but I did want to compare with the "in box" cables. I purchased one from RS and let me tell you, the difference was very noticable!
If you haven't done so already, you might want to try a little better quality HDMI cable.

I have a Denon 1910 connected with DVI to my 51" rp-crt Sony. For audio - coax to my receiver.
