I was interested in getting this new Sony LCD PC/HDTV monitor.
I am pretty sure that the native resolution for the PC signal should look good, but I am more curious about the TV/ game console signal.
At work I have a Samsung SyncMaster 510mp (which is also a LCD PC/TV monitor) and when you run a 480i signal through it looks like poop!(s-video or composite)
Now this Sony monitor does offer 480p with component inputs, but I am not sure if it will look any good. (720p might look ok)
The thing with most of these LCd montors, is that anything not running at the peak resolution looks awful.
Even if the Monitor does offer 480p support, I have doubts of how good it will look.
Anyhow, would like some feedback before i go spend 600 bux.
