1. See the FAQs "What's on in HD", also "HDTV formats".

2. You have a fixed pixel display (I believe 768P or 788P). All incoming signals will be converted to this format, your TV has no choice.

I didnt explain myself....I did not mean whats on TV, I meant is there a way to see what is playing as in format, with my TV like a info button to tell me its a 480/788/1080 being sent to my TV, like with my upscaling DVD player how do I know its sending 1080? Or with certain programing what is it in? Hope this makes more sense??? :wow:

If your TV doesn't have an "info" button, then you can't tell.

However, for HD programmes, you can see the FAQ "HDTV Formats", it tells you what each station is broadcasting - mostly 1080i, except for 720P (ABC, ESPN, etc).

The DVD player probably has an "output format" information item.... similarly for an HD STB if you have one.
