I have a question about this receiver. A friend of mine has this receiver with a Flat Panel Panasonic hooked up via HDMI. The Receiver is set up to output a 1080I signal. The Panny will not allow you to change any aspect settings when receiving a 720P or 1080I signal. My question is, is this receiver upconverting SD signals as well. When tuned to a non HD station still no aspect control functions from the set. In the STB's menu you can change settings to fill the screen and you can tell the receiver to do 480 which then gives you aspect functions on the set. In other words no 4:3 override similar to some cable STB's?
