I'm looking to get a 42" HDTV monitor and am leaning heavy towards the Toshibas... but what's the difference (except price!) between the 42HDX82 and the 42H82 ???

I was wondering the exact same thing. I'm also looking at the Toshiba 42HDX82 or 42H82. From what I can tell the HDX has DVI inputs already, but the H is only DVI "upgradable". Also I think the front panel looks a little different. HDX is called the Cinema series and the H is Theater wide. Other than that I'm not sure on the differences. Further help with this would be great! Thanks!

From what I can figure the HDX models have an improved audio, Glare screen and possibly different CRT's. Whats the price difference? If it is only 300-400 get the HDX since it will have DVI.

There are about 21 different improvements to the HDX over the H. My dealer only sells the HDX because the price difference is so close.

Better guns, additional lens in the guns. Better sound, remote control, anti-glare screen, DVI etc... Don't remember em all but its well worth the difference.

65H82 (http://www.toshiba.com/tacp/tv/current/65H82.html) and 65HDX82 (http://www.toshiba.com/tacp/tv/current/65HDX82.html)

I'm happy with mine :D
