We're down to the bare bone, fellas.

Remaining things needed to be completed are:

Rear platform for couch (against back wall, for stadium seating)
new rug, finish painting.

components!
(inspiration from radike)
as said before, the room is 9x12x9.

I'm looking for the best quality flat panel TV. The room is too small to have a self standing RP or DV tv. It must either be in-wall, or mount. (in wall dosnt sound like a very good idea, due to most flat panel TV's running very hot) unless proper ventilation in possible via in wall (is this possible?)

Looking for (remember, highest quality, within reason) 48-54' (Wide, not diaganol) tv.

Speakers. I'm told bose is crap apparently. Any take on this?

Thnx in advance.

btw: tv with extended warrenty is highly preferable. I'd like to be able to feel safe is a baseball goes through the tv.

Bose speakers/systems are pretty expensive when compared to other equipment that will provide a more accuate sound. Speakers are very personal choices, so someone else cannot choose for you.

Thats what it seems. I'm going to have to check them all out individually.

What about display?

XerO,
Check out the Sound and Vision HDTV Guide 2005. They compare several speaker systems. I have B&W speakers and love them (not the ones in the mag). Razor
