JVC 52Z585 HDMI Input Problem?

Has anyone had an issue connecting a Dish 811 DVI to their JVC 52Z585? I get the component feed and analog audio to work fine, but if I move the audio cables to the HDMI audio input and connect a Monster Cable DVI to HDMI cable from the Sat to the TV, I get no picture or audio. I checked the setup menu and the digital video input is still "grayed out".

Any clues?
If the video cable is bad, shouldn't the audio still come thru (it works fine with the component feed)?

Did you check the video ouput settings in the 811?

The 811 was set for 720p with the component outputs, then changed to 480p for the DVI/HDMI as the JVC and Dish instructions notes. Still no picture. Am I missing something to enable the digital output on the 811? Your help is much appreciated. Thanks again!
