Just noticed on a new DVD that it uses Superbit presentation to enhance the picture quaility. Is this technology really anything to "write home to Mom about"?

it is simply means the decoding is less compressed - that's why the extras are mininal...so you should see an improvement over a non-superbit dvd...all dvd players are compatible...superbit will die by way of HD DVD's...
