Does Toshiba 50HDX82 "CableClear" feature work?

This set apparently has CableClear DNR feature that makes regular cable signal appear sharp. Does this work? Also, I'm about to purchase this set as reviews seem outstanding. However, this will be my 1st projection TV and as a nontechnical person seems I may be overwhelmed with this set. Found this at Radarcity.com for $2000 including shipping/no tax. Any advice or thoughts greatly appreciated!

I read the return policy and it was not in your best interest.

Essentially you can not return it unless it is un-opened.
They don't seem to give any recourse if damaged during shipping. If for any reason you don't like the TV you are stuck or pay money out of your pocket for restocking or shipping.
Go to a place like Sears. You want to be able to have contact with someone who is ot 500 miles away with something as important as a TV.
