Tired of switching between DVD Player and HD Receiver. Any suggestions on a good DVI-D Switch box? Thanks

Your choices are limited, check Gefen out. What model TV is it anyway? Could you just use component connections for the HD receiver? Considering a switcher is going to run you about $250-$300, it's worth trying them out if you haven't yet just to see if they make any difference in PQ.

thanks I have Samsung DLP 50''hlm
Check on this page at RamElectronics (http://www.ramelectronics.net/html/DVI_monitor_cables.html)
I agree with mjones73's post. Although I have a DLP FP, I still use the component connection for convenience. A/V switching using the receiver.
I did see a difference but not enough to WOW me and I'm still undecided even to this day which I like best. I still have my DVI cable installed and will switch to it when conditions dictate.

Just so you know. The Gefen switch box from Ram works great. I've had one for almost a year. No problems.

Thanks Eddy and mjones73, It works great! Didn`t even have to use the power supply. I was impressed with the cables that came with it too. I thought they would be cheaply made.
