The above link is from the panny site... Mostly just the normal hype.
The only service controls for setting grayscale are drives. There are no cuts, thus the display at best will be a compromise where accuracy is concerned.
The "b" designation is not even mentioned on the panny site as it is most probably a "special buy" with sams AKA walmart that may not have all of the "features" of a standard non "b" designated item.

The "-b" implies that the TV and TV stand are sold together as one unit.
