Was wondering if anybody else out there has this model... Got it as a replacement to the KP51HW40 which had the flicker prob, but the new model i have doesnt cause the serial number I have starts with an 80 so I have nothing to worry about. Anyway was wondering if anybody does have this set what they like about it and what you dont like about it. I personally love the set its perfect for me................

Also does anybody know the red push fix for this set. Dont want to go into the service menu unless i totally know for sure its the right category thanx..

Mike I just got my KP51WS500 and the first thing i did was check the serial number. It started 903, do you think my set is prone to "the flicker" problem, thanks for any input!!

Yeah it might. Depends cause when I had the HW40 it didnt start to do it till like 3 months after I had it. So lets hope that it doesnt but just keep in mind that any of those sets that start with the 90 etc are prone to it. Id call Sony and see what they said because they just totally switched mine out and they were totally cool about it....
