Hi,
I am in Ventura. I have ordered a Winegard SquareShooter 2000. I have Dishnet, and plan on using a splitter at the dish/antenna, then at the receiver using another splitter to bring it in to the Dishnet receiver. Is this a good way of setting the OTA antenna up or should I just run a cable from the antenna directly into the TV, which has the HD receiver built in?

Thanks,
steve

It's always best to have a straight run from the antenna to the receiver.

Is there any benefit to using a splitter at the Dish/antenna to combine them then at the receiver, seperate them into the receiver?

One, you need to run a cable straight up from the TV so you can hook the power supply for the SS-2000 in. Two, please just open a new thread when you have a question that doesn't pertain to an existing thread, this one was just about people's set ups, not cabling questions.
