I am doing an experiment with my dlp tv to see how long the bulbs will really last. I have a 56 inch Gateway DLP television. So far the bulb has 6050 hrs on it and still going strong.

:wow: That's super. With all the bad reposts of premature bulb failure, it's good to hear that someone has actually surpassed the estimated buld life. I've had my Gateway DLP for about 18 months but still haven't passed 2600 hours. Your good news gives me hope.

Do you guys time your TV watching or are you estimating based on the # of days you've had the TV?

The gateway set has a integrated systems clock.
