Thanks for the new thread. I have been impressed by what I've seen & heard re the 32" & 37" Westinghouse LCD's. Then when I saw the size of box the thing came in, I was even more impressed! I was already attracted to the low price, of course. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has any experience with these sets.......thanks!

Just purchased the LTV-27w2 and can tell you I am very happy with it. SD picture looks great and will be buying a Samsung dvd for near HD dvd. My 44 inch rear projection lcd looks lousy in SD compared to this panel. Can't wait to see it with an HD signal!!

Hi, I did not end up buying one, but probably wish I did. I have an extra Samsung HD 941 dvd upscaling player if you are interested. Its almost new, out of box, will sell it to you for $100.00. If you choose not to do that, I'd suggest an Oppo, which I have on my 50" samsung DLP.

I bought the same model just a few weeks ago, and I'm very pleased with the performance, especially compared to the price.
Now I just have to figure out how to program my D* H10 remote to control it....

I'm happy with mine - both SD and HD.
The remote codes are a problem, however.
My TWC Atlas-5 remote will work with Sony codes, but only for power on/off and only if I hit the button several times.
