Moving Out

I am currently a digital cable/broadband Insight subscriber. I will be moving out and into a new home within the same zip code in a few weeks.
Should I cancel my service before I move or get it transferred? If I cancel, will I get any special deals with being a new subscriber in my new home?
The new place has the option of going satellite though. Is that something I can throw at the cable company to offer me a cheaper rate?

Check the specials in your area rigt now. Mention satellite and im sure they'll give you something better than what you have and allow you to transfer over.

You may be able to play both providers against each other to see who will offer you the best deal. I really prefer satellite to cable as I've had numerous problems with Viacom/TCI/AT&T/Comcast over the years. Just poor quality of service in every aspect.
