I’m considering moving my Sony HD Direct TV receiver 10’ from my set but I would need a 25’ to 30’ DVI-D cable to run it out of site. I would like to know if anyone has made a run this long with or without losing picture quality. Any suggestions on cable manufactures and or suppliers. I have found 32’ cables from $39.99 to $249.99 what is up with that?

usually the longest DVI cables are 15 Feet, anything longer might affect the quality of the signal.
You can find a lot of online stores sells DVI cables at very decent prices

DVI-D is a digital signal. It'll typically either get through, or not, therefor the PQ is usually unaffected. I've heard people puchasing 10m (32') cables and having them work just fine. I think I'd avoid the cheapest ones and also avoid the most expensive (like Mon$ter).

Hmm, just realized the original post was a month ago...

20 meters is about the longest I have seen work properly, anything past that and you start to get noise.
