is this hd receiver worth the price. thinking about bidding on it on ebay but don't know much about it. none of my friends have this one. i am just looking to be able to watch some football this fall and maybe some other channels. i have directv and am waiting on upgrading to hd until i get a box. any suggestions.

DirecTV replaced my failing Hughes E-86 with this receiver recently, and I am overall quite happy with its performance. Good PQ, stable.

just got it for 138 dollars. about to go and pick it up. any advice on the intricacies(sp?) of this. this will be my first hd box to go with my first hd tv sony 46". now i am assuming i need an antenna to go along with my current directv dish that i already have outside hooked up
