I have an older model RPTV from Mitsubishi (model ws 55909) It came with three ieee. 1394 input/outputs. I've never connected anything to them till now with my new Sony HD camcorder. The set instantly recognized that I had input such a device and it even recognized the model number of the camera. Problem is, the picture is very pixelated and flashy. I've checked and rechecked the camera settings to make sure that I'm outputing 1080I through the i.link cable (i.link is Sony's name for ieee.1394) and I've messed with everything on the tv this side of the service menu. So if anyone has advice they'd like to offer on what to try next, I'd love it. Thanks!

Does it happen if you set the output to 480p?

It's a 2002 model with very few features like that. I'll look again, though.

I meant, set the output of the HD-Cam to 480p.
