3100HD setup wizard?

Im having an issue with my comcast 3100hd box I just received tonight. I am hooked up to my LCD TV which inly display 480 and 720i when I switch to the component input of my TV, I do not see anything. I hear sound but see no picture. I can not find out how to get into the setup of the 3100hd to turn of 1080I etc. any ideas? is there a setup wizard for this unit??

Your best option is to ask for a newer box. Those 3100's are OLD!
I believe that this box will only output 1080i.

Ratman is right. There is no setup for the SA3100HD and it only outputs 1080i via the component video output. Either upgrade to the SA3250HD, or get yourself the DVR - SA8300HD. It will change your life. Everyone likes their DVR.
