Just a quick question I hope!

My new Sony LCD tv only has one HDMI input, s component inputs, and no DVI input. My DVD player has HDMI and component output.

Would I be better off using the HDMI from my digital cable box to my tv, and component from DVD player to TV, or the other way around?

I watch SD the most, HD the second, and DVD movies the least.

Thanks!

- Jeff

Is your dvd player an upconverting model? If so, you may be required to stick with HDMI to receive that feature.

On my Sony 34" set, I found that I got better PQ from both my cable box and from my dvd player over component cables. Now I'm saving my HDMI port for the HD DVD players coming soon.

I recommend the same for others in this situation.
