Plasma look cool ? but is the picture as good as others. The blacks seem more gray.
Never seen a big LCD in HD My brother has a LG DLP it looks good.
I now have a 3 year old 55" mit,s HD it still seems ok. I guy at work wants to buy it from me. My brain tells me to stick with what I have for a few more years.
Now using comcast HD.

IMO... if your 55" Mits works, enjoy it until it dies!

What ratman said, unless you really feel the need to upgrade, go with what looks good to you.PQ is subjective.
