I subscribe to Comcast Cable with HDTV service; 2 questions:
1) Is it legal for me to receive these unencrypted digital and HD channels via another HDTV tuner in my house (in a different room)?
2) Are there HDTV tuners that would do that (instead of OTA)?
Thanks.

Unencrypted is fine. See the HDTV FAQ on "Can I get digital cable".

There are only a select few QAM HDTV tuners (other than the ones from your cable company). Why not simply rent from the cable company - they're relatively inexpensive per month. Consider an HD DVR - people love their DVRs.
