HD TV is like that Seinfeld episode...

I don't really intend for this to sound mean spirited but as I am watching the ABC Monday Night Football game, I am reminded of the great Seinfeld episode where Jerry is dating that girl who looks great, at least until... she gets in a certain light and then she looks ghoulish!
Well, I was watching tonight's game first on standard definition Directv and they showed the sideline reporter Sam Ryan, and man she looked tough! What a babe!
Then I went downstairs and flicked on the high def version of the game and they just so happened to cut to another sideline report with Ms. Ryan, and it was like, oh my goodness, kinda scary. What happened?! Gadzooks!

Sometimes the ole HD is a bit shocking. I'm sure I'd look like caveman in HD so I'm not on my high horse here.

There used to be a thread somewhere about certain celebrities who don't look so hot on HD. Anybody else have a story?

Granted she just barely made the list but I'd have to strongly disagree with #10's "Better in HD".

I think she looks that much more of a rat face.

Has anyone seen Elizabeth Hurley in HD? I was surprised she wasn't in the top ten best in HD. That is one beautiful woman. :wow:

Cameron Diaz is on Jay Leno (HD) tonight. She is the unfortunate #1 on the tv predictions list. I think she is cute as a button so I don't know if I can bear to watch!
