back in july I purchased a kv30hs420, had a few slight geometry errors, but I learned to deal with them, now that football season is here, I cant, on sideline views the yard lines dramatically bow to the left and right, called sony, and they sent a service tech, who so far has been pretty useless.....put it on cnn, said the tickers and what not were straight enough for sony spec, showed him a game, and he kept saying it looked fine, I paused it and held a piece of paper up to the yard line, wich was obiously not straight at all, and he was like "oh, I was looking at the ticker",I asked him if he had a crosshatch signal he could input, and said he didnt have one with him, wich kinda surprised me, though I guess it shouldnt, the only thing he did in the service menu was get the serial number and bring up a diagnostic menu, he said he would talk to sony and call me sometime next week,......got a feeling nothings gonna happen, the problem isnt that bad on high def, its there, but not near as dramatic, and unfortunately, most of the games I watch dont land on the high def channells, fox, abc, wfli,espn2, only get cbs, nbc and espn on high def,.......any advice would be great.....thanks M.
