I am just wondering what your feelings are for this great set ands its lack of DVI or firewire inputs. Do you think Pioneer will offer some type of conversion kit? Do you think someone else will make some type of conversion kit for older HDTV's that do not have these inputs.

I am seriously considering this set, but I want to see if this is a potential dead end or not.

Read the DVI threads. They are all conjecture. If you are getting a really good deal on the set, then consider it "good", and you'll use the component video connections. If you are concerned about the longevity, buy a set with DVI for "insurance".
