Sony Has Come Out With A New Lcd Hdtv That Is Only 4 In. Wide. I Have The 60 And I Had It Calibrated And It's Got An Awsome Picture. So I Wanted To Know Is It Better To Buy One Of These Insted Of A 42 In Plasma So You Don't Have To Worry About Burn In. It's Either That Or The 43 In Pioneer Plazma Which I Know Is A Great Tv But Still Wondering About The Burn In.
There have been lots of discussions regarding LCD vs Plasma. Speaking strictly from a PQ standpoint, plasma may win (at least it did in a recent Sound & Vision comparo).
I assume you meant 4" deep.
Sony have just come out with these flat panel LCDs, I'm not sure I'd buy a first generation product.
Just some "off the top" comments.

Thanks 57u I Know What Your Saying But It's The Same Lcd Only 4in. In Depth. How About The 50 In. Panasonic (th-50px50u) 57u If You We're Going Out To Buy A Plazma 50 In. Being The Max What Would You Buy.
It's The Same Lcd Only 4" In Depth. It's the same LCD as what? Flat panel displays use different technology from RPTVs. Do you have a link for the new TV?
I haven't investigated plasmas, so I can't comment.

I Don't Have Any Link I Just Saw It For The First Time Last Night At Circut City. It Has A Beautiful Picture I Didn't Know That It Wasn't Made The Same As My 60 In. Lcd. I'm Not Sure What To Get.

Your 60" LCD is rear projection. This one is a 'flat panel' (direct view LCD).
Is this the set?

I ended up going out and buying the 50" Panasonic Plasma tonight. It goes up Monday. I already contacted Eliab (from Avical) to schedule the set for a calibration. He did my 60" LCD and it's awesome.
