I am considering the purchase of a HDTV monitor. How much value is there in getting a tuner to capture over-the-air broadcast signals? Does anyone have a tuner that can tell me about the level of programming I can expect from the tuner and whether it's worth the money? Thanks.

It depends where you live. Go to titantv.com and sign up (its free). When you enter your zip code it will tell you what is available for OTA digital broadcasts, and also what stations are coming and when. If you can get some stations, it is definitely worth it as this is where most HDTV broadcasts are coming from.
