HDTV Help!!!

I was wondering that (for example), if I were to buy a Sharp
Aquos that is "HDTV Ready" and plug a video game system straight into it
without a digital box or HD encoder, but I DO use a HD AV cable to plug
the game system (preferrably XBox or XBox 360) in to the "HD Ready" TV,
will it play it in Hi-Def since I am using a high-def cable or will it
not since it isn't plugged through a Hi-Def encoder then to the TV,
because the TV doesn't have a built-in HD tuner (that's why im asking)

You don't go "through" an external STB like a digital cable box. You can just go direct to the inputs.

If you play 720P games, you'll need to ensure that the TV will "ACCEPT" 720P format signals. (most do, but some don't).
