For those of you planning to get the new xbox what tv would go best with it.
Ive read that some reccomend an LCD and others a DLP. Being that all games
on the 360 are going to be in Hi Def, I would definitely want to get the best PQ out of the 360, i was thinking maybe the sony bavia 40 inch?????for gaming.

But your opinions please

The SXRD sets from Sony have a response time of 2ms, they are immune to burn-in and have the best picture I have seen... So I would say they are up there with the best for the Xbox360 gaming experience. plus A 50 inch can be had for the same price as the 40'' Bravia.

just my opinion, but I hope this helps you a bit.

I have yet to buy one as I am looking fo rmy 1st HDTV but I am looking at a 32" LCD..I currently play on aToshia 32" Flat Screen and enjoy it.......BUT most of the folks I play xbox Live with have 42"-52" LCD or rear projection...not sure I want to play on a 50" rear projection but I havent done it so I am not sure how I would like it. at my gaming site everyone told em to make sure that I get one with NO more than a 10ms response time

I'm new here but I have some experience with gaming on LCD's....I used to play Call of Duty online on an old 21" non-flat CRT. Picture quality was great. I "upgraded" to a 20" Samsung LCD with a response time of 10ms and found the game to be near-unplayable due to ghosting and slow response overall.

Just something to keep in mind.

10ms is a big difference from 2ms. You will not notice any slow response at that speed.
