So xbox.com just had an interview with Corp. VP of Xbox Product Group: Todd Holmdahl. He mentions everything about Backward Compatibility. The most important thing he said for HDTV owners is that:
Xbox.com: Will there be any benefits to playing original Xbox games on my Xbox 360 console?
Todd: Absolutely. One of the great things about gaming on Xbox 360 is the satisfaction of knowing that every game will be playable in high definition. We are now proud to reveal that this extends to the original Xbox games as well. Every original Xbox game will be upscaled to 720p and 1080i, and will take advantage of Xbox 360’s anti-aliasing capabilities, delivering a picture that is clearer and crisper than anything available on Xbox.
I can't believe this, this beats out sony when it came to PS1 games being compatible with PS2. Microsoft is seriously a beautiful company to go back and make the old games we played on our xbox1 even better in 720p or 1080i with Anti-Aliasing!

Very simialr to upconversion with what our hdtv does with SD material, good news!
hopefully this is'nt false news since i would like to believe it,but so far i only heard Halo 2 would be in 720p and 16:9.
Hopefully your right and this news is'nt false or hype.
Never the less, thank you for the news:) sounds really good if it's true.

Top Selling? Who cares if it's top selling... That's actually a good list and many people if not most thought it would only cover a couple of games...
That is an excellent list, I thought it would only cover a few games as well and my wifey was disappointed she wouldn't be able to play her Tetris on the Xbox360. Now she can, so I am happy... For me though I am more looking forward to play new and better games rather than the games of yesterday!

the 360 premium comes pre loaded with Hexic mabey that will tie her over and thier's suppose to be many other type games online.

Top Selling? Who cares if it's top selling... Well Since MS said it would be only top selling games at first........personally 5 games out of that list have I played...but a number of them I have never heard of......but I am really not worried about it since I will only being playing the new 360 games on mine.....since I traded in pretty much every game I had for the Xbox to help pay for everything.

The list will grow to incorporate the entire xbox collection. They started with these 200 and they'll work their way down from 2005 to 2004 to etc.
