I have a Samsung DVD-VR325 hooked up through a DVI cable to an LG DU-42PX12X plasma TV. When we try to watch DVD's on the TV we have a hard time getting the DVI signal to the TV. What I mean is when we select the DVI input on the TV, we don't get the DVD DVI output - most of the time. If we attempt to 'time' the sequence so that we cycle to the DVI TV input about the same time the DVD DVI output starts ("PLAY" displays on the LCD) then it can work. Anyone see similar behaviors? COudl it be the cable? The DVD player the TV? Any steps that could help me troubleshoot this would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Try unplugging the cable and replugging to make sure you've got a good contact. See the HDTV FAQ "Things to check first".

Try turning the TV on first. Then turn on the DVD Player to allow the "handshake". (See the HDTV FAQ "DVI/HDMI Information".
