Anyone who won the 360 per Pespi every 10 minutes are having such major errors the xbox is just dying on them. They have to receive the new HDD or if something else, send it to MS..

Hey Ratman...may I ask why this was edited? Do I do something against policy?

Don't remember what I removed. But at the time I must've had a good reason.

If you did anything against policy, you would have been told.

So far that post has 1 defective box- maybe 2 but hard to tell. The average age seems to be about 12, from the content of most the posts..

Unfortunatley the few that have defects are being blown out of proportion by he media and word of mouth. My godfather tells me not to get an xbox360 because they may crash.... WTF who told him. Hahaha.

As soon as I can buy one I will. I'm pretty sure I won't be the .001% unlucky people that have gotten defective xboxes, and if I do I got the 1-800 number that'll ship me a new one overnight.

This is not a rumour, but expected from a launch system, they all have issues with the first wave of systems.I'm sure the bugs will be ironed out soon since i too planned to get one for christmas.

My cousin had problems with his xbox360 but he called the service number like someone mentioned above and he should get a replacement soon.No biggie!

There's always some issues with the first wave of launch systems, i'm sure some PS3's might have them as well, the PS2 had some issues as well when it launched.

Ive had my 360 since release, played call of duty for about 20 hours with no problems, same with Project Gotham, no problems. Perfect Dark Zero? Played it for half an hour and it froze! Only done it once though so lets hope it dont happen again!

hopefully it won't but i here there is a seroius issue with overheating, in fact theres a guys making a lawsuit out of it against microsoft because his xbox360 overheated and melted the internals.

I read about that lawsuit and I think it is retarded. Just another person trying to get some free money.

I had 2 PS2's die on me around launch and I didn't sue anyone, I just got it replaced.

I hope this guy is made to look like the fool he is! Any piece of electronics has a chance at failing, and you are going to hear about it when you sell a million units in one day.

If you sold a million receivers on launch day you would here the same thing.

max,

But what happens if he does have a case and there turns out to be a design flaw?Wouldn't that mean there would have to be a huge recall?

Also have you heard of the xbox360 scratching disks all of a sudden?Weird.

It's kind of funny though, it's been barely 2 weeks already and xbox360 is already getting lot's of PR attention and sued :rofl2:

But your probably right about the lawsuit, chances are microsoft will pay the guy off and cover their mistakes like always.
