Stayed up all night in frony of Target.....yawn

I have only one spot for 1080i resolution on my TV (Mitsubishi WS 55819) and that's for my Comcast cable HDTV television channels. The component 1 and component 2 hookups only offer 480i?

Anyone know how to get 1080i for both somehow?

Thanks.

Type "component video switch" into this forum or your favourite search engine. They are priced from about $20-$200 depending on features, etc.

dd7n7, which input is your Comcast HD cable/Xbox using? I have a WS55859 with three inputs, "Component 1", "Component 2", and "DTV". Only the "DTV" plug is marked with a "1080i" input, the rest is 420p. I am frustrated, I can't get the HDTV signal to work. SIGH...
